About PacMan
Namco released Pac-Man in 1980. You guide a yellow circle through a blue maze. You eat small pellets and dodge four ghosts. Their names are Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Large power pellets flip the chase. You can chomp the ghosts for bonus points. Fruit pops up for extra score.
You learn each ghost’s rule. Blinky speeds up and locks onto your path. Pinky aims for the space ahead of you. Inky blends your spot with Blinky’s position to pick a target. Clyde drifts toward you and then breaks for a corner. The maze includes two tunnels that send you to the opposite side. Later rounds move faster. Power pellet time drops with each stage. You improve through sharp turns and clean routes. You can group the ghosts before a power pellet to gain large points.
The loop looks simple yet holds depth. You chase high scores and study set paths to guide the flow. In arcades, high score boards set goals and draw crowds. Spinoffs add twists, like Ms. Pac-Man with faster action and new mazes. The core idea remains clear. You read the maze and pick a route. You keep moving under pressure.
