About Hobo 5: The Space Version

Hobo 5: The Space Version throws the series drifter into an alien abduction. He wakes on a sterile ship and strikes back at guards and odd lab creatures. Corridors link labs, prisons, and hangars. Each room adds new enemy types and jokes that lean on gross gags. The art looks bold and cartoony and the sound hits with burps, thuds and laser zaps.

The core plays like a side-scrolling brawler with a steady stream of new moves. You beat foes and collect move icons to unlock combos. Punches and kicks handle most fights. The trademark spit, snot and puke combos keep crowds under control. You can grab pipes and laser guns for a short power spike. Stages end with mini bosses tuned for positioning and timing. A tougher alien leader waits near the finish.

Enemies include small skittering aliens, armored guards and cloned hobos. Some clones mirror your move set and push you to adjust. Health drops sit in clear spots across the ship. Careless brawling drains lives fast during crowded fights. Short checkpoints keep momentum during retries. Staggered targets keep combos flowing in longer rooms. Heavy swings from found weapons break tight packs. The campaign moves at a brisk pace from start to finish. The ending sets up the next chapter through an escape toward Earth.
