About Haunt the House
In Haunt the House you play a restless ghost in an old mansion. Your job is to scare every visitor and clear the building. You drift through rooms and look for the best spots to spook. You hop into lamps, portraits, swords, or a piano and make them act up. The fright meter fills after each scare and unlocks stronger tricks.
The game keeps the controls clean and quick. You move, possess an item, then pick a trick from a small list. Early on you rattle, flicker, or moan. Later you throw furniture, summon shadows, or chill the air. Each person carries a nerve bar that rises with every scare. They bolt for the door when it peaks. Severe shock can send a person leaping from a window. That hurts your final score.
Smart play uses timing and flow. You chain scares to build momentum and then switch rooms before the crowd settles. You herd people toward exits by spooking them from different angles. The hand drawn art gives each room a cozy but tense feel. Sound cues sell every stunt, from creaks to ghostly chords, and help you plan the next move.
