Explore a Temple with Magical Fairies
Fireboy and Watergirl: Fairy Tales is a cooperative puzzle platform game. Fireboy and Watergirl enter another temple filled with doors, levers, lifts, diamonds, pools, and dangerous traps. This adventure adds glowing fairies that help the pair operate parts of the temple. The game contains 30 levels.
One player can control both heroes, or two people can share the keyboard. The characters need to reach their matching exit doors together.
Control Fireboy and Watergirl Separately
The arrow keys move Fireboy. The Left and Right Arrows make him walk, while the Up Arrow makes him jump. Watergirl uses the A and D keys for movement and W for jumping.
Fireboy can move through fire but cannot touch water. Watergirl can enter water but must avoid fire. Green liquid harms both characters. Players need to check each path and send the correct hero through it.
Diamonds also match the characters. Fireboy collects red gems, while Watergirl takes blue ones.
Move the Fairies with the Mouse
The glowing fairies respond to the mouse or touch controls. Dragging a fairy toward a coloured lamp can power a door, platform, or other temple machine. Fairies can also move switches that the two heroes cannot reach.
Fairy colours matter. A lamp may only respond to the matching glow. Players must guide the correct fairy through the level while still controlling both main characters.
Help Both Heroes Reach Their Doors
Many puzzles require teamwork. Fireboy may hold a button while Watergirl crosses a platform. A fairy may activate a lift while both characters stand in safe positions. Moving one hero too early can trap the other behind a closed gate.
The level ends only after Fireboy reaches the red door and Watergirl reaches the blue door. Collecting diamonds and finishing quickly can improve the result.
Fireboy and Watergirl: Fairy Tales keeps the familiar teamwork of the series while giving the mouse an important role. Successful players manage three parts of the puzzle at once: Fireboy, Watergirl, and the magical fairies.
